Edge Profiles For Floor Coverings
Schüter®-SCHIENE, the original finishing threshold strip or diminishing profile, finishes tiled surfaces and protects the outer edges of ceramic and natural stone floor coverings from mechanical impact. The threshold strips or diminishing profiles as they are also known of the Schlüter®-RENO series create a smooth transition between adjoining floor coverings of different heights, protecting the exposed tile edge.
Wall Corners And Edge Profiles
The tile trim profiles of the series Schlüter®-JOLLY, Schlüter®-RONDEC, and Schlüter®-QUADEC create a highly durable and decorative finishing for wall coverings and skirtings made of tile and natural stone. Trend-led textured finishes are available with Schlüter®-TRENDLINE, designed to match the latest trends in tile design - including greige, concrete, wood and metal. Thanks to the numerous material and colour options in the range, there are no limits to creativity with these tile trim profiles. Using the range of tile trim profiles in conjunction with the decorative Schlüter®-DESIGNLINE and Schlüter®-QUADEC-FS border profiles, Schlüter-Systems offers the option of creating designer accents within tiled installations.
Stair Nosing Profiles
The edges of stairs are exposed to heavy mechanical stresses, resulting in installation failure, and represent a high risk for injuries. Because of their slip resistant design and excellent visibility, Schlüter®-TREP stair nosings and stair trim profiles improve safety and protection, whilst providing an attractive finish.

12 New Finishes Announced for Popular Wall Profile
Schlüter-Systems Ltd is pleased to announce the release of 12 new finishes for one of the manufacturer’s longest established profiles for tile and stone.
The new additions further increase the range of metallic finishes available for the 6, 8, 10 and 12.5mm versions of the company’s most popular wall profile, Schlüter®-JOLLY. The finishes have been released to the UK market in response to considerable demand from customers.
The new finishing options provide options to contrast or blend with wall tiles and also include matches to the latest fixture and fitting trends in kitchen and bathroom design:
• Schlüter’s existing range of chrome finishes sees the introduction of a brushed chrome option
• Three nickel/titanium finishes offer a stylish muted match to grey tile and stone
• The introduction of a selection of copper finishes (satin, polished and brushed) melds ideally with the ongoing popularity of rose gold and copper interior detailing
• Brushed antique bronze provides a rich match to vintage and industrial themes
• Satin and brushed brass are new companions to the existing polished brass finish available, with the three variants offering a warm toned, retro solution to tile and stone finishing
• Bright black and brushed graphite finishes provide a sleek finishing option to match dark coloured tile and stone.
JOLLY was first released in 1981 to solve the problem of exposed unglazed tile edges in wall coverings; since its debut, it has developed a reputation for smart, high quality finishing across all manner of installations.

Schlüter Announces Collaborations for CDW 2018
For Clerkenwell Design Week 2018, Schlüter-Systems is working alongside three of its partners, all key players in the design and sourcing of high-end tile and stone.
The market leader in tiling systems will be making its way down to Pentagon Tiles’ unique ceramics showroom, 45-49 Leather Lane, recently nominated for a RIBA London regional award. Expert specification consultants from the company will also be on-hand at Caesar Ceramics’ Urban Lab and Solus Ceramics’ brand-new Design Hub in London’s architectural heartland of EC1. Across all locations, they’ll seek to demonstrate how Schlüter’s solutions can help to support the beautiful ranges of tile and stone that these leading names in the industry provide.
With events running from mid-morning until late throughout the festival, which this year runs from 22-24th May, there’s plenty on show. During the day, the three showrooms will be throwing open their doors for open showroom events, with Caesar organising individually themed days in celebration of its 30th anniversary. Heading into the evening, there will be a number of exclusive invite-only sessions at the venues: from sophisticated cocktail gatherings and product launches at Pentagon, through era-themed DJ sessions that will set visitors up for the night at Caesar, to three nights of networking parties with drinks and nibbles at Solus.
Final details will be posted on Schlüter’s events website just before the festivities kick off; in the meanwhile the company’s expert team are preparing in earnest, for what’s set to be yet another excellent year of the UK’s leading independent design festival.
